24 Second Psycho compresses the full length of Gus Van Sant’s 1998 shot-for-shot remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho into 24 seconds. The piece stands as an inverse remake of Douglas Gordon’s Twenty Four Hour Psycho, in which Gordon projected Hitchcock’s original over a period of 24 hours.
